Brand-new Lufthansa 787-9 collapses onto its nose at Frankfurt

On June 4, a barely one-year-old Lufthansa 787-9 (D-ABPQ) was prepping for LH450 to LAX when its nose gear collapsed while parked at the gate. No pax aboard, but two cabin crew and several ground staff went to hospital with minor injuries. Engines hit the tarmac, composite nose badly damaged, flight cancelled.
